Sushi making workshop Gent

Who doesn’t love sushi? It’s the perfect combination of healthy food and comfort food, and you can make it with so many different ingredients, depending on everyone’s personal taste. During this workshop, you’ll learn how to make sushi using the right tools and ingredients. 🍣 Nigiri, maki, futomaki, uramaki, hosomaki… we’ll make them all and immerse you in the delights of Asian cuisine with all sorts of tips and tricks for creating delicious sushi yourself. There’ll be plenty of time to have a natter too, and after all that hard work, you can enjoy the sushi rolls you’ve made yourselves.

There’ll even be enough to take some home with you. A lovely way to treat the family at home, or to make your colleagues at work a bit jealous.

What can you expect?

A brief introduction to how to prepare sushi and which ingredients to use when making sushi. Deep-fried scampi, crab, tamago, carrot, pickled radish, salmon… these are all combinations you’ll be able to make. You’ll get stuck into making sushi like a pro and learn the cutting techniques straight away

Finishing with toppings:

At the end, you’ll sit down together at the table and enjoy your creations. Also suitable for pregnant women, vegetarians and vegans. Alternatives are even available as supplements (e.g. cold noodle salad).

Optional extras:

Sake tasting (3 types of rice wine to be tasted during the workshop) – supplementary charge

This workshop is available for groups of 8 or more (or at a starting price of €556 if there are fewer of you).

The workshop lasts 1.5–2 hours (depending on the size of the group).
